Haroun tries to make sense of the chamber... purpose, architecture, decorations, inscriptions, exits... anything that he might have read about somewhere. Also tries to atone his faris nature to that of the place.
Needless to say, he also has Hafeeza (his faithful scimitar) at the ready.

Keesha's whispered words had carried uncomfortably well in what was assuredly a large chamber. Collectively you held your breath, straining to hear any movement in the darkness beyond. For a moment only the faint sound of Ya'qub's floating globe of fire could be heard, flames fluttering in a breeze that flowed down the passage. Then, curiously the flames stood still for a moment before fluttering in the opposite direction as the breeze shifted.
"Ikzal uweinig gehoornde jaktonen..." A loud, slurred voice boomed from the depths of the darkness--a voice of a drunk or sleepy man. "Verlies wat gewicht vetu weinig..."
Silence. A slight scaping sound, then silence again.

Waleed scratched his head and said quizzically in a whisper, "I'll show you small horns? What the heck does that mean?"
Thinking about it a bit, "I think it's drunk."

Eyeseeing a giant about 50' from her, she points to the wall on her left, making sure she catches the party attention. Joining her hands together she makes a sleeping sign to alert her companions - a sign to Waleed to pick up the silenced stone if it is still working. Behind him she sees a heavy stone door and very slowly moves forward a bit to figure out whether it is locked or if it can be moved.
While operating silently, her mind is at the ready to cast a defense spell shall anything go wrong.

Ya'qub slowly pulls his jellaba on over his shoulders, preparing to fade into the darkness if necessary....
[ooc -- yep, I'm back. -- thanks for the globe of fire thingy Michael - great idea!]

Waleed nodded and went and picked up the stone and placed it in his pocket, then followed behind Keesha once more.

Haroun whispers: "I feel a faint evil aura coming from the left... might be that creature" Then starts following the rest very silently

As you follow Keesha deeper into the chamber, Ya'Qub's fire globe gradually illuminates what the sorceress had gestured toward. In a great shelf carved from stone and rock, a giant slept. Dark skinned and and beardless, it was in all respects similiar to a Zakharan male except its enormity. Shirtless, he wore enough glittering jewels to excite a sultan. As you slip past him, blanketed in the protective silence of the magic stone, the giant rolled over--muttered something without opening his eyes.
Beyond him, heavy stone doors have been ripped open. Wide steps glittering with some type of powder climbed into darkness. In the flickering light you can read an inscription--a translation posted over an worn engraving above the doors. "May he never be called to finish the task he started" A pungent, spicy aroma. Wafts out of the tomb.

As she eyes the jewelry on the giant, she sorrows dissapointed that it didn't "accidentaly" woke up. Erasing those thoughts of her mind, she concentrated on the task at hand - helping Adila - and away from those temptations. Awaiting til her companions arrived she grabs a small leather puch and magically transfers some of the powder into it - might be worthisome studying it later. Then, she focusses on studying the translation, trying to figure out how old it might be.

As they pass by, and without taking the time to stoop and examine up close, Ya'qub attempts to discern what the glittering powder is -- is it gold? silver? another precious metal, or some crushed stone?
He will also attempt to determine the type of spice that the party is smelling. He is, after all, a merchant, and might be familiar with such sights and smells...
[ooc: do you need me to roll for this?]

"The powder is the crushed bones of a holy man! It radiates good!" Haroun whispers... He then signals towards the tomb and whispers again... "Evil!"

Slowly she nods to Haroun, saving the leather pouch under her robes. Then she looks the steps going upwards and grins "I shall follow you then, I heard you have some protection against evil right?"

Haroun nods... gesticulates a bit, whispers a prayer to his god.
He looks at Ya'qub to see if he has identified the odour... and starts slowly, carefully and silently up the stairs...

Smiling she moves behind Haroun, noticing the aura radiating as she clears her mind to cast a further spell as necessary.

Waleed fell in step at the back of the group, just in case the sleeping giant awoke unexpectantly.
