Opening her eyes she looks at Yaqub "Thanks... that was... strange".
Breathing slowly she starts telling her companions what she found.

Opening her eyes she looks at Yaqub "Thanks... that was... strange". Breathing slowly she starts telling her companions what she found. "Well, so there's something really big in there..." Waleed rubbed his chin and continued, "and we have to take care of it cause it's destroying the temple. Now, I'm almost of the inclination that whatever it is in there is in there not by there choice. So maybe we open the way and then step WAY back and confront it out here. What do you think?"

"Now now.. Who said we "have" to take care of that thing? Don't we have enough trouble in our hands already? - Some things in this word are better left undisturbed"

"Fate has guided our journey here," Waleed replied. "We are the only ones that can help, no one else is here and if we do nothing the temple will be destroyed. I am asking that you help in this matter, will you?"

"A temple is man made right? There is no people or anything in there that need our help.. isnt it just a shrine?.. i thought we came here to help poor Adila.. now if you tell me how would that help her or our quest then of course I would help, but dont ask me to care about a bunch of rocks"
then she looks at Yaqub for support.

...then she looks at Yaqub for support. "I'm with Keesha on this," he begins slowly. "I agree that our first course of action is to remove the curse from Adila. Will helping here accomplish this?"

Waleed looked perplexed. Despite the desperate call for aid from Nalv, his so called friends weren't concerned in the least about the shrine and more about their safety, or so it would seem. The long months of comfort since their last adventure had softened the two, perhaps if Waleed offered them some dinars for their time that would change their minds, unfortunately he had little to spare.
"Forgive me, but I'm a bit confused. Did we not come to the shrine to pray and seek answers on how to lift Adila's curse? How are we to do this if the shrine is destroyed? I highly doubt kneeling in prayer to a pile of rubble is going to get us any answers." Waleed was not happy, time was being wasted over selfish concerns.

She shakes her head looking at Adila "To pray? you think praying is going to help here? I am sure poor Adila has prayed more than enough already" then she turns to Nalv "Where is the priests library? Is it inside?"

"This is a shrine, not a public library and I doubt Adila has ever prayed here." Waleed turned away from the woman he had come to call a friend and remembered she was an ajami and cared little for the ways of the land. Sighing he looked at the stone wall in front of them and began devising a spell to cut a large hole through the wall.

"Will you please help me Keesha, or must I do it alone?" Waleed couldn't look in her eyes, he was afraid his disappointment in her would be too apparent.

"Very well. But promise you are not rushing in as in the Pit of Ghouls. This time we are doing things cautiously - One of those crazy feats of you and we are out of there" then she focusses her energy on her spell.

Obviously Keesha had been hit in the head during the adventure at the Pit of Ghuls because she obviously remembered it all wrong. Waleed was the one, much to his shame, that ran out of the Pit of Ghuls when everyone else ran back in at the end, including Keesha. However, Waleed was in no mood to argue, she was being a typical... woman. Yet another reason why he would never marry. "As you say" was his only response.

Having decided on a course of action, you set to work with vigor. Keesha’s spell of silence covered the howl of whirling sand and rock that Waleed’s spell sent crashing against the wall like a miniature sandstorm.
Outside the boundary of eerie silence, Haroun El-ahrairah leaned close to Shabab Eblis al-Rubban: “The wall has the look of genie work, Rubban.” The ship’s captain raised an eyebrow but said nothing. Neither he nor the Faris had been with the party long enough to feel comfortable interrupting you with the observation.
The wall stood strong against the assault for several minutes before collapsing into a pile of rubble, the mortar stripped away by the relentless sand. Nalv stepped forward and in a demonstration of great strength quickly cleared a path through the heavy stones.
Beyond the entry a tunnel descended into darkness, bereft of even the afternoon sun here in the shadow of the hill. What little could be seen was disconcerting—the tunnel appeared to have been recently enlarged by massive clawed hands and the smell of fresh dirt blended with the strange spices that wafted up from the depths.
Mamoun looked to his master Waleed and couldn’t resist stealing a glance back toward the ship. If Waleed noticed it, he did not comment.
Ya’qub too looked back toward the ship where his new bride awaited his return. Then with a sigh he spoke a word of magic and a small globe of fire cracked into existence above his palm. There it bounced and danced like a magician’s magic trick. Someday it would likely amuse Ya’qub’s children—today it would light their path forward into the dark unknown.
Waleed led the way, scimitar in hand. Ya’qub followed close behind. Their footfalls on the fresh dirt where further silenced by Keesha’s spell- conveniently cast upon a stone that she could discard or place as needed. Regardless, it wouldn’t last much longer.
Mamoun, Haroun and the captain brought up the rear ahead of Nalv. Were there light enough to see it, their discomfort would be plain to see on their faces. Giant wasps, no matter how benign, were unpleasant to have behind you in the dark.
Downward you walked the gently sloping path, Ya’qub’s feeble light illuminating the way ahead just enough for your imaginations to conjure up all manner of dangers just beyond the reach of the flickering light. Then the passage leveled off and opened into a large chamber, the dimensions of which could only be imagined. Oddly, the occasional tremors could not be felt once you left the passageway.

Whispering very slowly she closes her eyes briefly. As she opens them up, they are have a slight glow, almost feline, to them. Tossing the stone briefly to the side she whispers "Very well gentlemen, now we are in."
Then, she moves slowly forward to avoid calling attention and starts examining the chamber for any runes or inscriptions. For most of you its not the first time you have seen her do that, but you are still surprised at how gracefully shes able to move - not a hint of noise or reflection.
