Nalv scratched out his reply on the sandy floor outside the tomb.

Nalv scratched out his reply on the sandy floor outside the tomb. Only this I know We are sworn to defend them from here until they arrive in the Ruined Kingdoms Waleed scratched his chin, "So good Nalv, you do not know where they are right now? Hmm..." The young prince thought for a moment more, "Is there anything else you or the Imam require of us?"

She looks at Waleed and Yaqub. "Excellent, here we go again... once more caught into someone elses trouble!"

"Better than our own." Waleed replied, hopeful that whatever the future presented that it would be as profitable as this last encounter had been, both monetarily and spiritually.

She then moves around the tomb, muttering a spell which suddenly turn the rooms very light, letting the inscriptions glow slightly making them easy to read. "Lets see what we have around here..."

Ya'qub waved the now needless fire-globe away; it winked out like a candle in the wind. The sacred tomb was quite spartan as was customary. The eastern wall bore the epitaph "May he never be called to finish the task he started."
Nalv had already removed the foul yakmen and their chest of skulls, placing them in the wide cavern that served as the tomb's antechamber at the bottom of the steps. Waleed's servants awaited there, holding the creatures' personal possessions; Mamoun and Jaheira nervously cradling the staves and undoubtedly recalling the spewing swarm of insects.
Waleed cast a spell and then studied the tomb. After a moment he turned and descended the steps. One by one you leave the tomb, the last being Haroun. Nalv pushed closed the heavy stone doors that had been ripped open by the giant dao.

You now stand on the beach, delighting in the rich sea air that was in sharp contrast to the dry air of the tomb. In the distance the Bright Dancer awaits in the calm bay, lanterns on her deck pushing back the encroaching darkness as the sun slips beneath the horizon behind you.
The young captain has readied the longboat, and sits patiently awaiting you. In the middle of the boat sits the chest; now free of skulls, the victims having been buried by the industrial Nalv. As for the Subverter and the Pretender, their bodies lay at the bottom of the bay; deposited there ingloriously by Nalv as well.
Adila joins the captain in the boat, her face unreadable. Perhaps she is disappointed that the curse has yet to be lifted from her; if so she doesn't show it.
In pairs and individually, more and more giant wasps are appearing, though none approach. They busy themselves around the mosque or merely groom themselves.

"Mamoun, come here and help me, do you expect me to drag this Yakman's head by myself!" Waleed grumbled under the appearance that he in fact had to do menial work fit for a servant, but he really didn't mind, he had to keep up appearances.

Delighting in the sea breeze she turns an eye to Waleed. "Why are you carrying that thing? Looking for a trophy for your guests room?" laughing she moves towards the chest and starts checking the booty. "What do you say friends? Do you want to take any gold right now are should I see to lock it safely?"
Waiting for their response she turns to Adila and then looks at her seriously, speaking softly
"Wanted by us or not, seems our paths have crossed, twice even. Don't worry. We will try to lift that curse from you... besides, its not as if you can die right? we are the ones who are taking the risk in here." Then she winks an eye in a friendly manner at her.
Then she turns pensative.."The Ruined Kingdoms... mmm anyone heard somethign about that? I think we shall prepare ourselves if we are to be heading there"

"I am forever in your debt," Adila replied. "Despite the events of today, the madness has been pushed back by the light of hope. Thank you all, for what you have done and anything further you do to assist me. I am a poor woman of no means and no family."

Ya'qub nods, then turns to his ship's captain.
"Have you ever heard of these 'forgotten kingdoms?'" he asks.

"They are well known to me esteemed Ya'qub," the young captian smiled, "it is the land of my birth. My mother lives there yet!"

With a chuckle, Ya'qub said, "Well, then, it appears they are not as 'forgotten' as we were led to believe. Let us make our way there! If Fate favors us, you may well sleep in your old bed before this journey is over!"
