Waleed walked back to Adila and knelt down beside her, "Adila, can you hear me? It is Waleed your friend." At first there was no response, then slowly she began to stir as if from a deep sleep.

"Wait a second or two, of course we don't know if the invisible stalker is still around, but we dont want to call atention from others.." Ya'qub considered Keesha's wisdom for a moment. "What if, " he mused, "we wrapped Adila up and carried her out as if she were dead? That might convince the stalker that it had done its job. Then we carry her to the Bright Dancer and investigate the matter more fully..."

"Mmmm... interesting proposition" then she smiles "very well, lets do it! But lets get moving now, enought talking" with that she casts a temporary sleep spell on Adila.

Adila slips into a relaxing slumber.

"Very well, lets get moving!" with that she steps outside and starts heading towards the Bright Dancer. She must have eyes everywhere as she sometimes steps sideways or backwards without even looking.
Then you hear Eakon flying over your heads and into the pathway.

"Yes, let us be off quickly." Waleed then whispered something to the other two seemingly staying behind.

It was full night outside the Drowned Sorrows. The returning tide tirelessly lapped against the vessel and its small floating pier. Above, a new moon shed no illumination as it inched crossed the meridian. Waleed lead the way across the narrow suspended rope bridge toward the pier on the shore, conscious of his companions behind him by the bouncing and swaying of the bridge beneath his feet.
Ahead, the docks where mostly empty but many merchant windows yet glowed with lamp light, no doubt transacting late night business deals malevolent and benign. Some ships where being loaded despite the hour. Beyond the docks, Tajar sparkled like a jewel.
Anwar’s loud grunt followed close behind the blow that shook the suspended bridge. Ya’qub saw Adila windmill out of Anwar’s arms like a cloth doll, clip the rope rail and fall to the water below with a splash. Waleed spun in time to see Anwar crumple down stunned, slipping between the ropes and hanging partially over the water.
Keesha hadn’t yet stepped on the bridge watched as her companions struggled to remain standing against an invisible attacker…

"Not this time!" she whispers to herself, prepared this time as the delay in moving allowed her to prepare their defense this time, using what she studied at home regarding summoning and conjuring.
A slight wind is felt around her as she summons all her energies. A light glow builds up into her hands and she points both straight into the figure.
"Return to where you came from assasin - your bind is broken, your service forgiven!! she shouts

Waleed drew his scimitar and hopefully would see the Invisible Stalker after Keesha's spell struck it. The son of princes would exact his own revenge for striking him down earlier.

Ya'qub grasped the rope rail with one hand and pulled his dagger with the other. He saw Anwar struggling to pull himself up, saw a shadowy Waleed swinging and thrusting at an unseen enemy, heard a sputtering Adila break the surface of the water, then felt a flash of pain on the back of his neck and shoulders. His hand was torn free of the rope and he flipped off the bridge- a sickening moment of the stars somehow appearing beneath his feet and then enveloping wet darkness as he crashed into the sea.
Waleed saw Keesha, silhouetted against the lamps of the Drowned Sorrows, slump slightly, as if she'd just excerted herself greatly.
The rope bridge swung in ever smaller arcs until it was still. The danger had past almost as fast as it had begun.

Waleed stood there, waiting for the other shoe to drop, but nothing came. Immediately he sheathed his sword and helped Anwar to his feet, then instructed the man to help him get Ya'qub and then finally Adila.

Waleed spotted Adila swimming toward the small floating dock on which Keesha stood. Anwar shook his thick head and hastened over to help the unfortunate Adila from the sea.
Ya'qub had yet to surface. Waleed saw nothing but the rolling blackness of the cool sea.

Waleed saw nothing but the rolling blackness of the cool sea. Waleed stripped off his baldric, casting his sheathed masterwork sword to the ground, then dove into the water after Ya'qub. He wasn't much of a swimmer, but he wasn't about to let the gap-toothed merchant die on his account.

Seeing Waleed thrash about in the water, Ya'qub put his dagger between his teeth (he'd seen someone do that once, long ago)* and immediately kicked out toward Waleed. He wasn't sure who was the rescuer and the rescuee at this point, but at least they'd find out together.
*[OOC: That is, of course, assuming Ya'qub didn't drop the dagger when he fell into the water...]
