Hey, now, in all fairness, between Waleed and me I think we've given him a lot of stuff to work on for the wedding, it practically writes itself At least, that's how I remember my own wedding.... Really, though, I love the way Michael takes the ingredients we throw at him and mixes them into a wonderful dish, or in this case, wedding cake. Hah!

Let's just hope he doesn't throw in some elements of a bad horror film. There's nothing like a drunken efreet-lord to ruin a wedding reception.

SHHHHHH! Don't give him any ideas! He's bad enough without that kind of help! A barrel of fine imported wine from Huzuz in one hand and a great spitted and roasted bull in the other, Az'ahk staggers drunkenly towards the horror-striken merchant. "Ya'qub!" he roars with an inebriated slur. "You have taken my bride. Now I shall take yours! HA HA HA (hic) HA HA HA (hic)!"

So that players are able to plan activities prior to the wedding, can I say two weeks game time to prepare for the wedding?
Keesha wanted to take a trip, Waleed has some activities going on...
In a pinch I suppose preparations could be done in 1 week, but it would be a bit hectic and more costly.
I need to know before I write up the wedding.
FYI- here's where we're headed. Players have some side story's going on behind the scene that can be backposted as necessary within the space between now and the wedding. The wedding will be one post with some follow up discussion, comments, etc and then I'll drop the next hook which will occur at a period after Ya'qub's honeymoon.
So, the game time may extend into a month or two, but the realtime I'm condensing it down. Prepare some activities to pass your time. It doesn't need to be anything profound, but I'll consider some cliché improving activities if you can justify it. e.g, a class, study, hiring an instructor.

So to break it down:
2 weeks lead time to the wedding 1 week of feasting
Honeymoon - unknown - Ya'qub?

Ya'qub is going to be...preoccupied with the wedding. He is planning on taking his bride to Huzuz following the wedding festivities. He will be gone for the biggest part of that time learning to be a husband. Of course, it will be hard for him to not have one eye open for the occasional business venture... As an aside, this week is going to be a little crazy for me; I've got a major presentation to prepare for toward the end of the week, so while I'm not going anywhere, I may not be posting as much as usual this week.

Guess you'll just have to let Sahra and Waleed handle the wedding details. Ya'qub is okay with seafoam abas, right?

Won't somebody think of something for poor, eager Salah to do? He'll groom horses, cut flowers, go shopping with Keesha, hem dresses... anything!
