Here we go! I'm not sure who we've got along for the ride, but we'll assume everyone and trim as needed. The next stop is Dhiliz where we'll start the adventure in earnest.

Welcome aboard, Saqir! I didn't think you'd still be around or I'd have mentioned you in the turn's intro. Sorry! I'll fix that straightaway.
To clarify- there is a bit of travel yet, from the mouth of the Nogaro upriver to Dhiliz, but I will be summing that up and placing us on the docks. I needed to point out some local geography before we entered the interior of the jungle.
Let me know of any purchases or actions such as letters written, messages sent, etc, during the previous month's journey. I'm open to anything within reason.

Yeah, I was just waiting for the start of a turn to throw in my hat. Not sure how I'll secure my position with the party, but we'll see how it goes.

Interlude In the junction of the lights of the stars. . . .In your right hand, there is an iron ring and a seal. . . .Make your heart the tablet to write on the verse . . . .Recite it and chant it when people are asleep. It is the secret contained in the created beings; there is nothing but it. It is the greatest verse. Therefore make it accurate and get it. Through it, you will become a "pole" if you serve well.
2nd of Rahat, The Drowned Sorrows tavern We meet the beggar Adila, from Muluk, City of Kings, far to the north of Tajar.
Later...
Shortly thereafter, Adila is violently murdered by an Invisible Stalker which then attacked the party and escaped with the clay seal.
The clay seal reappears later that evening...
Adila proves surprisingly resistant to death...
Ambushed on the docks...
The attacker is repelled.
3rd of Rahat
Keesha's research reveals:
The translation of Adila's words matched the prophetic tone in which she'd spoken them:
Waleed recommends...
We meet the captain of Ya'qub's restored ship...
6th of Rahat. A pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Suhail min Zann. Inside the mosque:
Then, heroically purging the shrine of the Yakmen and freeing their enslaved genie...
The fiercesome dao completes the tasks and leaves you with a riddle...
Shortly thereafter, a voice from the grave:
To help rid Adila of the curse you set sail to the distant Ruined Kingdoms.
Now we are 50 miles south of the great city Dhiliz, the Gateway City, awaiting high tide so that we can clear the sandbanks and sail up the mighty Nogaro River.

Great!
Btw, is there a map of the area available? I guess you have one sketched..could you post it? It will make easier to find ourselves around as I find hard to keep with all the names when responding to a post.
Thanks!

It will make easier to find ourselves around as I find hard to keep with all the names when responding to a post. Thanks! Here's a high-level map I googled. I'll try to get a scan of my detail maps asap. You are at the southern end of the prominent north/south flowing river in the upper left quadrant of the map. The two islands mentioned in the turn are between there and the top center of the map. membres.lycos.fr/jtonton/images/ZakharaSW.jpgI raced off to work this morning without my notes so I didn't get the turn written at lunch as planned. Its in progress.

I went back through the archives looking to find Sahra's voice and realized I'd not finished posting the old board's turns that Hank (Ya'qub) had so thoughtfully compiled. (Over 200 pages!)
I've posted most and will finish them soon.

Just kind of following along for the moment.... Not sure what I need to have rolls for, so I'm not attempting anything really important yet. I'd have done the observation roll if I had thought of it first... Maybe I'll do it later, after the PC's have left for their Inn, since I'm planning on spending the night at the Steel Serpent. I'm still not sure of how or why I'll connect with the PCs.....
If I do the observation roll, I'd have it as one of my cliches (they're all (3), so that works... Most of them are even appropriate) teamed up with my falcon Eye in the Sky.

I'm sorry. I'll work it into my next post.

You won't know what the inn looks like until you get there...
